Pastry Chef’s Favorites

BrandyThe guest instructor was Brandy Stumpe, pastry chef at the Camas Room, who distinguished herself earlier this year by winning Riverside Center’s Umpqua Valley Iron Chef competition in the pastry division. Brandy’s a native of Montenegro (formerly Yugoslavia), and she learned her craft from a professional chef, who just happened to be her mother. Before she joined the staff at Seven Feathers, Brandy the entrepreneur was proprietor and chef at her eponymous restaurant in Roseburg. She also is an instructor for the culinary program at Umpqua Community College.
