Beyond Red Sauce

Our sixth season of Cooking for Charity classes kicked off with a 6pm pasta class, “Beyond Red Sauce.” This was definitely “not your mother’s spaghetti!”

Cooking for Charity committee members were this month’s instructors, showing us how to make a caper and anchovy sauce, a cabbage and prosciutto sauce (sounds strange but tastes fabulous), a primavera sauce with summer vegetables, and some interesting pestos. This demo and tasting class was lots of fun and an eye opener for those of us who were in rut when it comes to pasta.
