Autumn Dinner

VincentFor the month of October, Chef Vincent Maneha opened his newly-refurbished Brix 527 (at 527 Jackson in Roseburg) and prepared for us an wonderful autumn dinner menu, featuring a bacon-wrapped salmon, saffron risotto with wild rice, mushrooms, and fresh corn, a spinach salad and a delicious chocolate cheese cake. The meal was complemented with wine from MarshAnne Landing Winery.

Vincent’s a local treasure, with experience cooking in upscale restaurants in Northern California, followed by a stints at Tolly’s and, of course, his pre-Brix Old Town Café.
