Classic Pesto Sauce

Makes about 1 cup

2 cups fresh basil leaves
2 large cloves garlic
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp freshly grated Romano cheese
1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Combine the basil, garlic, cheeses, and nuts in a food processor. Process to mix and then add olive oil. Season to taste. Let sit 5 minutes before serving
