Champagne Fruit Bowl

1 Large Watermelon
2 Melons – any type, cut in small chunks
2 Apples cored, cut in wedges and then in small sliced
2 or 3 bunches of grapes – red and green, cleaned and cut in half
3 Oranges cut in segments – Save peel
1 Large Can Pineapple Chunks, plus 1/3 cup of the juice
2 Tabs Shredded Orange Peel
1/4 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Orange juice

Add Just Before Serving:

1 Small bottle Champagne or 1 cup White Grape Juice
1/3 cup Sliced Almonds or chopped Pecans, toasted

Use Carved out watermelon as serving bowl

1. Cut Watermelon at about 2/3’s lengthwise (not in half). Cut out melon into 1-1/2 inch pieces until the entire cavity is cleaned out. Set melon aside and melon cavity.

2. Cut all fruit in small pieces and set in any large container. Add sugar, orange peel, and juices. Set aside.

3. Add Champagne/ juice and almonds just before serving.

4. USE carved out watermelon as serving bowl.
