Chunky Gazpacho

4 large very ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 large cucumber, peeled and chopped
1 onion, finely minced
1 green bell pepper, finely minced
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 large or 2 small cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 cup tomato juice
salt and pepper
