Serves 10- 12

1 Kilo Sugar (5 cups)
1 Liter Milk (4-1/3) cups)
12 extra large eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Sugar

Butter a deep dish pie pan. Caramelize the 1 cup of sugar, and coat the bottom and sides of the pie pan.

Boil sugar with milk and vanilla. Cool mixture to lukewarm and then beat in the eggs. Add egg, sugar and milk mixture to the pan.

Place the pan in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees until done, about a hour.

Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
